The Ouse Valley Singles Club are a band that are heavily influenced by the traditional sounds of 1950's Skiffle but combine that with the energy of Rock and Roll and Punk. They are not a regular 'Jug and Bottle' type band, their sound is kind of New Wave Skiffle and has been described as "George Formby meets The Clash" and goes down well everywhere they play with a variety of audiences.

Humorous in nature the songs work well in any venue with both young and old, although the songs have adult content, OVSC tailor the shows depending on the time slot and audience.

They have played and been well received in pubs, clubs and festivals all over the UK. Locally they are regulars in Bedford's Esquires Music Venue where they are as popular with the Indie/Rock/Muso crowd as they are with your Real Ale afficiano's
